Top Ten Tips
Our bodies are made up of more than 60% water and water is considered our most important nutrient next to oxygen. Water protects our brains, lubricates our joints and provides a medium for blood circulation, carrying nutrients and removing toxins. Tea and coffee does not contribute to your water intake, as they are often considered a diuretic flushing water from the body rather than nourishing the body with water. Focus on drinking water as often as possible throughout the day!>> Attend a Choose2Live teleseminar on "Top Ten Tips to Keep Off the Holiday Pounds" |

What makes you smile? How often do you laugh out loud?
Smiling and laughter are wonderful healing techniques, allowing you to be your own healer! Smiling and laughter releases endorphins inside the body that make you feel good. Endorphins also help to relieve physical and emotional stress in the body. Additional benefits of laughter include:
- boosting your immune system
- increasing intellectual performance
- boosts information retention
However, as with most things in life, the smile or laughter must be authentic for it to trigger the emotional, chemical and spiritual healing benefits. If your smile doesn't originate in your heart and doesn't truly reach your eyes - dig deep, let go and try again:)While I cannot find the source now, I do remember reading at one time that laughter studies conducted in Germany showed that 20 seconds of full-on belly laughter was equivalent to 2 hours of traditional healing therapies. Laughter yoga may, funny movies and hilarious books are all great ways to incorporate laughter into your life - whatever works for you. Make smiling and laughter a part of your life; a smile a day keeps the doctor away!Question of the week is by Trish Bishop, author of The Question Journey, through Your Healing Sanctuary, a members-only online community that explores different healing modalities each month.
